Between Light and Darkness

Wow. This is probably the strangest thing I've ever done. Yet. There's more in my head, of course... but none of it made it into the light of pixels!

Anyway, what was the point of this, you ask? Well, in English we've having this "worldview" segment. I've got no idea why. Seems more like a Bible theme... but whatever. So today, our teacher gave us this rather elementary assignment. On Friday we're supposed to bring two things to class: One that represents us (bringing my pointe shoes, of course), and another thing that represents our worldview. Aaaaaand.... I got carried away. Basically I'm saying "There's good and evil in the world, and humanity is caught in the middle of it. People are neither fully good, nor fully evil, and it is their choices that make them who they are." Except I have to make that speech last like... two minutes.
I was going to do something rather like :iconflightlessarchangel:, but she already did it (duh). And I've wanted to do something like this for a long time. Plus it gave me an excuse to ignore all anatomical laws! Whoohoo! And I recorded it on Livestream (I think it saved, anyway), as proof I drew it. Because I have a tendancy to have teachers question the validity of my work.
Remember that poem I posted on my old account? Well I turned it in... and my teacher googled it 'cause she didn't believe I could write that well. She found it here on DA, and started freaking out. But then she figured out it was me. Pretty hilarious, actually.

Okay, I'm rambling. Time for bed.
I'd love to have some input on this before I turn it in Friday.

Time: About 2 1/2 hours, counting distractions. The livestream was started after the sketch, which went through a few phases.
